How to Calculate a Tip

Tip = bill × tip % ÷ 100   Total = bill + tip   Each = total ÷ people

Quick mental math: for 20%, move the decimal one place left and double it ($84.50 → $8.45 → $16.90). For 15%, take 10% and add half again.
