IRA Growth and 2026 Limits
2026 limits (IRS): $7,500 a year across all your IRAs, plus a $1,100 catch-up at 50 or older. Roth IRA contributions phase out between $153,000 and $168,000 of modified AGI for single filers and $242,000 to $252,000 for married couples filing jointly. Traditional IRA deductions phase out at lower incomes if you have a workplace plan ($81,000–$91,000 single; $129,000–$149,000 joint).

Tips
Contributions can’t exceed your earned income for the year. Traditional IRA withdrawals are taxed as income and subject to required minimum distributions; Roth withdrawals are tax-free after age 59½ once the account is 5 years old. Limits change each year. Not tax advice.
